Gyeongsang Province signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EME Holdings on the 24th to promote the establishment and activation of a personal mobility manufacturing plant.
EME Holdings plans to invest a total of KRW 800 billion in the Cheongri General Industrial Complex, spanning 53,992㎡, from October this year to 2023. The company predicts that once the factory is completed,
it will employ more than 100 people and evolve into a global smart mobility company capable of producing electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric kickboards, battery packs, and chargers all at once.
EME Holdings is a joint venture established under the strategic business partnership between EME Korea, a specialized manufacturer of electric bicycles, and SMK, a professional secondary battery solution
company.
