"Certificate Award Ceremony for 15 Promising Energy Companies in Gyeonggi Province in 2022"
On the 25th, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Kim Dong-yeon) held a certificate award ceremony for promising energy companies in 2022 at the Gyeonggi Economic and Science Promotion Agency.
According to the province, the Promising Energy Company Support Project has been promoted since 2021 to foster energy specialized companies and promote the commercialization of technologies. After
receiving applications from energy companies in the province from May to June, 15 companies were finally selected after evaluation. This year, 42 companies applied, recording a competition rate of about 3.5 to 1.
The 15 selected companies are ▲Light Bridge Co., Ltd., Hyrium Industries Co., Ltd. in the hydrogen field ▲Basman Technology Co., Ltd., PM Grow Co., Ltd., Ekaplug Co., Ltd., SMK Co., Ltd., Gentry Co., Ltd.,
Ites Co., Ltd., and Digital Makers Co., Ltd. in the energy storage (charging) field ▲ Sungjin General Electric Co., Ltd., Osung Electric Co., Ltd., HD Energy Co., Ltd., BokYong Co., Ltd., ABC Labs Co., Ltd., HKC
Co., Ltd. in the energy efficiency field.
Basman Technology Co., Ltd., located in Hanam City, is a company that has commercialized environmentally friendly lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and interior and exterior onboard chargers (OBC) for
personal mobility charging infrastructure. It is drawing attention as a company that provides location-based analysis services using battery management system data based on experience and technology in
renewable energy storage system solutions.
Light Bridge Co., Ltd. in Hwaseong City is attracting a lot of attention from domestic and foreign buyers interested in carbon neutrality and green growth based on competitive technologies in the field of
atmospheric plasma and hydrogen energy.
The selected companies will be awarded certificates (certification period of 3 years) and nameplates, and will be supported with 22 million won in funds for business customization needed for domestic and foreign certification, marketing, acquisition of intellectual property, etc.
This year, reflecting the opinions of participating energy companies, the plan is to promote improvements such as strengthening publicity using the brand design (BI) of promising energy companies, increasing
support amounts (20 million won → 22 million won), participating in corporate exhibitions and hosting seminars, and promoting inquiries about legal violations by supported companies.
To become a promising energy company, the company must be a company in the energy-focused technology field (4 major 16 fields) designated by the state, and the headquarters or factory must be located in
the province for more than 3 years, and more than 50% of the total sales must be energy-related sales.
