SMK Co., Ltd. Selected for the 2023 Gyeonggi-do Star Enterprise Support Project 

SMK Co., Ltd. announced on April 25th that it had been selected for the 2023 Gyeonggi-do Star Enterprise Support Project according to Gyeonggi Province's public notice No. 2023-416. The project aims to nurture strong small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with outstanding growth technology and high growth potential in Gyeonggi Province. It provides tailored business support, from product innovation to market development. Participating companies must be Gyeonggi Province-based businesses that have been in operation for more than three years and have a sales volume of more than 5 billion KRW (2 billion KRW for knowledge service companies).

Gyeonggi Province stated that it would be implementing the 'Gyeonggi-do Star Enterprise Support Project', providing tailored support for all areas from product innovation to market development, targeting SMEs with technical prowess and growth potential. A total of 33 billion KRW has been allocated to the project, which plans to select about 43 SMEs as star companies, providing up to 70% (up to 760 million KRW per company) of the total project costs, depending on the company's demands in the three areas of product innovation, market development, and smart innovation.

SMK Co., Ltd. was selected in this project for the design development of battery exchange charging stations, the development of a platform for users, and the development of a control system for the management of batteries and charging stations. The project is scheduled to proceed until November 2023.
