SMK Co., Ltd. Attends Launch of Korea-Ukraine 

New Building Association (KUNBA) 

SMK Co., Ltd. attended and celebrated the launch of the Korea-Ukraine New Building Association (KUNBA) on June 30. The establishment of the association aims to support construction and reconstruction projects between Korea and Ukraine and to further enhance economic connectivity between the two countries.

At the inaugural meeting, a declaration of establishment, bylaws, the appointment of officials, and business plans were deliberated and decided upon by over 100 initiators, comprised of representatives from politics, academia, and industry, including former Minister of Education and Deputy Prime Minister Hwang Woo-yeo and World Korean Foundation Director Kim Deok-ryong. Former Ukrainian Ambassador Lee Yang-goo was elected as the inaugural director and chairman.

KUNBA, a corporation registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, plans to conduct multilayered support activities to establish global governance for humanitarian support and post-war recovery between Korea and Ukraine, and to create a favorable environment for Korean companies to participate in Ukraine's reconstruction projects.

SMK Co., Ltd. emphasized that its participation in the association has contributed to the expansion of cooperation in construction and reconstruction projects between Korea and Ukraine, and has strengthened the economic connectivity between the two countries.
